Senior Software Engineer (PA, Pittsburgh)

Our company is currently looking to hire a skilled Software Engineer to join our team to help with the development and support of our market differentiating software solutions for our Wealth Management advisors in assisting their clients. We are looking for an individual who can create diligent solutions from scratch, with the forethought to define the standard approach moving forward.

This is a dynamic position that will require a diverse set of skills to work with our Next Generation technology stack that includes Salesforce development, and our legacy systems.

 

Responsibilities

Build and modify software to fix errors and improve performance of legacy and Next Generation systems.
Create unit tests and write technical documentation.
Collaborate with customers and departments on technical issues, including software system design and maintenance. Follow Scrum/Agile methodologies.
Apply strong knowledge of programming languages and software development life cycle.
Stay current with evolving technologies and programming languages.

 

Experience/Skills

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related degree or relevant experience in lieu of degree is required.
Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
Ability to work independently on projects.
Experience working with financial products and systems strongly preferred.
