EdgeCo Holdings is comprised of several affiliated companies focused on providing a broad array of sophisticated financial products, technology, and support services in the areas of full-service retirement plan administration, brokerage services, and trust & custody solutions. EdgeCo provides these services through numerous subsidiary entities including American Trust, Mid Atlantic Trust Company, NewEdge Capital Group and PensionPro Software.
The Financial Analyst position with EdgeCo Holdings is a newly established role that will have direct exposure to EdgeCo’s senior management. The Financial Analyst will spend the majority of the time on financial planning & analysis initiatives with some additional work on M&A projects as needed.
This position is headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA working in a hybrid capacity.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Monitor and analyze trends in KPIs, identifying causes of variances, etc.
Financial Analysis: Monitor and analyze trends in company financials, identifying causes of variances, etc.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop (and continually improve) budgeting and financial projections.
Communication & Reporting: Development of monthly and quarterly financial and operating packages as well as materials for the Board of Directors.
Ad-hoc Analysis & Support: Support the senior management team and department heads with as required data-driven analysis.
Acquisition Support: Support the VP Financial Planning and Business Development and senior management in Merger & Acquisition projects as needed.
Skills & Experience:
Undergraduate degree in Business or Finance.
2+ years of relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, FP&A, and/or corporate finance.
Very strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and decision-making ability.
Strong finance background and acumen including analyzing and forecasting the three financial statements.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail; ability to work in a conscientious, consistent, and thorough manner.
Ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
High level of interpersonal skills & ability to collaborate across departments.
Commitment to data integrity and continuous improvement of data quality and QC processes.
Advanced skills in Excel including complex financial modeling.
Advanced skills in PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting tools and Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
Experience in the financial services sector, including retirement services, asset & wealth management, and/or trust & custody solutions a plus.
