With over a decade of experience in the financial services industry, Joshua takes great pride in helping clients develop their monetary objectives and create a tailored plan that will enable them to effectively pursue their goals. He offers expertise to help individuals plan throughout multiple life stages and guidance in a wide range of services and strategies, including retirement planning, trust and estate planning, wealth preservation and asset allocation.
Prior to joining NewEdge, Joshua had been with Raymond James since graduating college and was previously a manager at Cavett, Turner & Wyble, L.L.P. He also taught principles of accounting and individual income taxation as an adjunct professor at Lamar University.
Joshua completed the Professional Program at Texas A&M University, allowing him to simultaneously earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in tax consulting and financial planning. He also studied at the University of Barcelona and traveled with the Texas A&M Singing Cadets, visiting England, Scotland and Wales and singing at St. Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster Abbey.
A Beaumont, Texas, native, Joshua lives there with his wife, Lauren, and their children, Carter, Emily Claire, Lily Cate and Julianne. They enjoy traveling as much as they can, usually with their kids! An active member of his community, Joshua serves on Lamar University’s planned giving council. He also helped found and still serves on the board of Veritas Classical Academy and leads music for Riverside Church.
